[Hong Kong - June 8, 2017] As editors we are always kept on our toes with a variety of exciting new projects. Our experience in working alongside corporate clients, authors, and academics is very inspiring and rewarding. So in order to reach out to our new potential clients, we would like to introduce the method of submitting a piece of work to us.
We know that it’s easy to jump the gun when a deadline is looming, but we suggest that you have your document completed before you send it to us. This means that all your content, MS spellchecking, sources and citations are ready for review by one of our senior editors. Of course, we can do all of these things for you! But having everything prepared before submission is a bonus. It speeds up the editing process and allows the editor to really focus on your content. If you’re after copywriting, obviously these suggestions don’t apply. In this case, we suggest that you send us a detailed outline of your message and some examples of what you’re after.
Once the preparation is done and dusted, the next step is submitting your document. This can be done by emailing your work to info@ees-hk.com. This “info” address is connected to our core editing team, who will respond within an hour. Once we receive your document, a senior editor will read through your work to see which level of editing is necessary. This could range from proofreading to substantive line editing, and everything in between. Once we know the type of editing required, we will finalise your word count and calculate the cost and turnaround time. We also suggest that you let us know your deadline – this information really helps us!
In our email response we will provide you with a quote, estimated turnaround time, and all the necessary payment details. Payments can be made via online banking, ATM, or PayPal (link provided upon request). Once we receive payment we’ll get cracking with the task at hand. And because we're so kind, any re-edits are absolutely free of charge! So what are you waiting for? Get in touch with us today – we’d love to hear from you.
